Dinner changed every night, and we liked it so much that we ate at the restaurant throughout our stay. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, just what we needed before heading out for walks. Marco and Jani made sure we had everything we needed, and it was easy to explore the area by train or bus. We had a great time at Angiz and would happily stay again and recommend it.

We were especially glad to find veggie food at the hotel. Breakfast was really nice, and the room was spotless and just right. They also welcome pets. The people were friendly, service was 10/10, and there are lovely walks nearby. A perfect place to stay!

We only meant to stay one night, then added another. The home-cooked vegetarian dinner was very tasty, and breakfast had good quality produce. It’s a charming little hotel with lovely views and warm, kind owners and staff. When my partner became ill, Marco went out of his way to take care of us. I don’t often leave Google reviews, but Hotel Angiz really deserves the praise.

Everything was clean and tidy, and there’s a big parking area. It’s very quiet and only a few minutes by car from the beach. The food was extraordinary: all vegetarian, organic, freshly cooked with produce from local farmers. Breakfast felt like brunch, with plenty to eat, including eggs, tomatoes, cheese, jam, kefir or yogurt. I spent a day here and found the welcome very warm. The staff were kind and ready to help with all our requests. I strongly recommend spending some time here.

The room was comfortable and clean, with lovely views over the reserve. We enjoyed our two nights here. There are a couple of bars within walking distance, and more touristy spots are a short drive away. Gernica is one of them and worth visiting. The staff were friendly, spoke English well, and breakfast was fine. A nice place.
