Ritual Maspalomas

If you want a Four Seasons, look somewhere else. But if you want to be close enough to crawl to Yumbo and feel like part of an extended Riual family, you’ll feel at home here. Our functional room had a lounge area, a small minibar, and a balcony overlooking Yumbo. The employees are lovely. Thanks again, Ritual, you never let us down.

Room 310. The room service staff were excellent and kept the room very clean. But the toilet leaked throughout our entire seven-day stay, even though I reported it four times. The room looks a bit tired, the paint is peeling in the shower, and the desk unit was in poor shape, with damaged legs and tops.

The pool is a good size and spotless, and the rooms are cleaned to a high standard. They also have good air conditioning and WiFi. Reception staff were really nice and helpful, and the Yumbo is very close. I didn’t have a problem with noise, though the hotel across the road sometimes made more noise with its entertainment. Ritual could use a little paint here and there, and the young guy opening the cafe/restaurant in the mornings could be more welcoming. All in all, I had a pleasant stay, would return, and wish them all the best.

The location is amazing: there’s a supermarket next door, restaurants right out front, and Yumbo Center on the other side of the hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful, though I only stayed one night. The renovations felt cheap, with bathroom tiles painted over and a broken, cracked sink. They showed me the clothing-optional area listed in the description, but no one was there and I never saw anyone nude. If nudism is what you’re after, this isn’t the place. For what I paid for one night, I could have stayed three nights at other resorts, so it wasn’t good value. If being close to Yumbo Center is your priority, though, this is your place.
