The menu del dia was really good, and the staff were attentive and nice. It may not look like much from the outside, but I’d say give it a try.

The menu isn’t cheap, and the food was awful. Hygiene was disastrous too, with bathrooms that seem to get cleaned only in leap years. It’s hard to have a bad meal in Cantabria, but this place managed it. I’ve eaten at plenty of restaurants around the region, and without a doubt this was the worst. Eating here feels like a big risk.

The set menu is a very good deal for its quality, quantity, and price. When our group of twelve or fifteen wants roast kid, suckling pig, lamb, or paella, we order ahead, and we’re always delighted. We’re already looking forward to coming back next time.

The food is fantastic, and the atmosphere feels properly small-town. It’s become one of my favorite places for several reasons, even though it’s not in the center of anything or the trendiest spot around. The quality for the price is unbeatable.
