Tarongeta - Adults Only

The balcony had a lovely view, and it’s a great little hotel. I did miss having a toilet brush in the bathroom.

We could walk to the seafront in ten minutes or less, and parking at the hotel was included. The receptionist was really helpful when we asked to add another night. It’s a nice place in a picturesque town, and I’d stay again, though that unusual bathroom door keeps it at four stars for me.

Room 209 was quiet and had a small terrace looking toward the old quarter. The hotel was very clean throughout, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and included in our price. There looked to be plenty of parking behind the hotel, though I imagine it fills up quickly in high season, so check in early. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. I couldn’t find much to fault.

It’s a pretty hotel in a beautiful city, but our stay left us feeling scammed. We ate at the restaurant for convenience because we were told breakfast was free, even though there were better restaurants with better views nearer the water. At checkout, the owner said, “I am sorry but you have to pay 15 euros.” They checked and admitted the restaurant server had made an error, but still asked us to pay. That could have been an honest mistake handled ungenerously. What bothered me more was the hotel’s reply to our Tripadvisor review: it made several accusations about us that weren’t true. I found that quite unprofessional. I wouldn’t stay here again because I want to do business with someone honest.
