The pier is just a two minute walk away, and the beach takes about three. Everything is close enough to walk to, thanks to the hotel's location. Alicia at reception was so helpful and friendly, and really made our stay better. It's not always easy to find welcoming staff in Spanish hotels or restaurants. There's also a little shop right next door selling inexpensive beer and other drinks. We had a wonderful stay.

We had a lovely surprise in this beautiful little boutique hotel in the old part of Cadiz. The rooms were super clean and the staff very friendly. I had booked for the day before I arrived, so my booking was no longer valid when I showed up a day late. The receptionist kindly gave me a room without charging me again. Parking wasn't a problem either. I highly recommend the hotel. Thank you so much, I'll be back!
The rooms are a bit small, but that was fine, and being so close to the beach was great. They even supplied beach towels. Our room was spotless every day, and the rooftop was a nice, quiet spot with a small wading pool. All six of us had a fantastic five-day stay to kick off our trip. The staff were lovely to everyone and especially kind to my toddler, with a brand new crib all set up. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
Breakfast was good, and the staff were great, though they couldn't fix the problems with the room and parking. There's no on-site parking, and the few nearby lots are hard to get into. We circled for ages and waited for someone to leave. Street parking is taken by locals. You might do better parking at an apartment complex, mall, or grocery store and taking an Uber in. The hotel is on a narrow one-way street, so unloading means blocking traffic. The room felt outdated, the bed wasn't comfortable, and the wiring was awkward. The bedside USB outlet loses power when you turn off the lights, so the phone can be dead by morning. At least the old town, restaurants, and other places are within walking distance.
La Caletta sits in a quiet spot in line with the pier, a block behind the beach, with plenty of cafes and tapas bars nearby. The building has been renovated with real style and comfort. The staff were genuinely hospitable and couldn't have been kinder. We felt like valued guests. We recommend La Caletta in every way. Thank you!
