The hotel is perfectly placed for walking to restaurants, the cathedral, the ocean, and pretty much everything else. The front desk and room staff were pleasant and accommodating, and the complimentary bottle of sparkling wine was a nice touch. We enjoyed our stay, apart from the weather, which brought high winds and rain. Our room, The Andersen, was spacious and tucked away on the fourth floor, with its own rooftop balcony. It did feel a little crowded because of the period furniture. My wife found the bed too soft, while I was fine with it. Mattress firmness is personal, after all. The lobby is beautiful and clean, with a little cafe next door that you can enter from inside. The elevator had plenty of room for us and our luggage. The bathroom was roomy, with shampoo and shower gel, but no small washcloths or conditioner. There were also no hooks for face towels. We hung them over the sink edge, where they got wet. A minor annoyance.

The hotel arranged parking for us at a spot a short walk away, very easily. From its central location, it was simple to walk to all the main points of interest, and there are plenty of good bars and restaurants nearby. The cafe bar on site was a bonus. The team were extremely friendly and helpful, and we had a very comfortable, enjoyable stay. Highly recommend.

The room was on the small side, but clean and comfortable. Just watch the shower, as water can end up all over the floor. Despite being so central, it stayed very quiet at night, and the AC worked wonderfully in the summer heat. The staff were kind and welcoming. Parking took a little figuring out, but the hotel has reserved spaces in a nearby garage and will guide you there. Everything was within walking distance.

The room was smaller than it looked in the pictures, which was probably my only disappointment. Still, I highly recommend this picturesque boutique hotel. The lobby is beautiful, the location is excellent, and the rooftop area was nice. The front desk staff were very kind. I asked for something special for our anniversary and was delighted to find a bottle of cava in the room, then learned everyone gets one. LOL!

I came back this year after a first stay in a family room that pleasantly surprised me. The room was great, the beds comfortable, and the staff went out of their way to help with my lack of Spanish. I really appreciated the effort to translate for someone who only speaks Canadian English. On this second visit, the location and price were still great, and I wasn't disappointed. There's no pool, but there is a beautiful rooftop lounge and comfortable rooms. I'd book one of the better rooms so you don't end up disappointed. You get what you pay for. Thanks for making my third stay in Cádiz that much better. I appreciate this lovely little hotel, keep it up!
