The bathroom in the double room is part of the room itself, so you have to use it in front of the other guests. I can’t say if the apartments are the same. There are 60 steps up a narrow staircase to the rooms on the fourth floor, so watch your luggage. Cleanliness was acceptable. Still, the building and Calaceite are beautiful, which more than made up for those inconveniences. It’s a very quiet stone hotel right in the centre. The owners are very friendly, and breakfast is simple, excellent, and reasonably priced.

Isabel and Jorge were very kind, and the rooms were really clean. The bar downstairs had a lovely atmosphere too. The stairs were the only snag, a bit narrow when carrying suitcases.

I can only speak about the cafeteria, not the accommodation. The prices seem outrageously high for tourists. One day a hot chocolate and a coffee with milk cost us €4.40. Another time, two slices of toast, a coffee, and a hot chocolate came to €16. Absolutely ridiculous.

They closed at 2:30 PM on the Friday before the Pilar holiday. And then businesses complain that they’re struggling...

Jorge was very kind, and our room was cozy, spacious, and very clean. Everything was perfect. We’d definitely stay again. The town is lovely, and the location makes it easy to explore the Matarraña region.
