It’s a small, basic room with comfortable single beds. The building is an old hotel by the road, and with just single glazing you can hear traffic. Shampoo and bath gel come in sachets, and there’s no hair dryer in the room. A small supermarket is across the road.

For this price, this is about what you get. It’s a two-star hotel, no more and no less.

Top place.

The reception staff are pleasant, but they seem worn out from covering so many jobs, from reception and housekeeping to cleaning rooms and whatever else comes up. During the week the hotel feels almost deserted, and the breakfast buffet is poor and lacks class. The hotel is seriously lacking.

The receptionist made our stay a very positive experience. She also serves breakfast and, I think, manages the whole hotel, handling everything herself. She was attentive, understanding, and ready to sort out any problem guests might have. We’ll definitely come back, and we’ll book directly with the hotel since that’s the best way. Thanks for taking such good care of us.
