The room was ridiculously small, untidy, and not properly cleaned, and it smelled bad. The beds were tiny, old, and uncomfortable. There was no soap in the bathroom, and the doors were about 50 years old and very hard to open. The older man at reception didn't speak a word of English. Avoid it if you can. Maybe just put up with one night if you have to, since there are lots of nearby hotels that are cheaper and much better.

A very good place for a holiday.

We just wanted a shower and a change of clothes after a long trip, but this was easily the worst place I've stayed in, especially in the middle of August. They charged us as though we were staying overnight, even though all we needed was a short stop. There wasn't even soap for the shower. The mattress was old, the walls were dirty, and the place smelled musty, damp, and of tobacco. The €70 price included a room with a broken air conditioner, and they wanted another €10 on top. After paying and going upstairs, I felt ripped off and just wanted to get out. The service was absolutely terrible. To me, this hostel deserves zero stars, and I wouldn't wish the experience on anyone.
