The old man at the bar was rude to guests, acting as if they belonged to him. He kept watching us like we were intruders, even though we were premium guests. And nobody explained how anything worked there.

The staff were very good, especially Anna, Claudia, Isabel, and alexandro, who were so helpful. But we found too many hidden costs and strange rules, and after this experience we'd probably never do all-inclusive again. You can only get half a lager at a time, and there's a charge for a fridge and for using the spa. Unlike customers at htop amica, we had to pay for beach sun loungers. We were supposed to be able to use the other htop hotels, but drinks there cost extra after 7 pm, and the entertainment was only for Spanish guests. If we did try all-inclusive again, we'd check that it really meant all-inclusive. We wouldn't return to an htop hotel.

Staff were amazing and the food was quite decent. There's a train station nearby, along with a supermarket, fast food restaurants, tourist kiosks, and the beach. The sand gets extremely hot and can burn your feet, so wear sandals or slippers. It’s a bit gravelly and scratches your feet, which makes getting into the sea difficult. Don't forget sunscreen. Room cleaning usually comes between 9 and 11 am, during breakfast.

It was my first time staying at a Spanish hotel, and I had an amazing time. The room was big and the bathroom properly clean. I really liked the food, with enough choice for even picky eaters. The best part was the staff. They were friendly even outside work, and one person walked with me for over a kilometre to show me the train station. Pol and Alan were among my favourites. The animators got everyone involved in dancing, from kids to adults and even older guests. Bianka and Iratxe were especially fun, and the animators were lovely.
