ibis Sevilla

A classic Ibis, and nothing to complain about. It's decent for business travel like mine. The internet is good, the room is acceptable, and both cleaning and room service are good. The staff are amazing. There's a bar and restaurant on the ground floor, though they only open after 19.30. Private parking is available too.

The room was acceptably clean, but booking this hotel was a mistake I'll avoid repeating. Within two days of reserving, I began getting spam texts about the booking and calls from unknown numbers. I ignored them. Ibis had given my data away, it seemed. I reported it to Ibis and Booking.com, and Ibis sent me tips for avoiding scams. Pity they hadn't followed their own advice. The hotel itself is in a desolate part of Seville, though the city is magnificent. Ibis advertises a restaurant, but it was closed Friday and Saturday evening. They sent me to a road about half a mile away, where those restaurants were closed too, and I eventually found one farther away. The hotel feels a little run down, and the toilet's reduced flush didn't work. This isn't an airport hotel: it's a 30-minute bus ride from the airport. Next time I'll stay in the magnificent city and accept a slightly longer trip to the airport. My data will be safer, and it'll be easier to find a decent supper. I'd suggest doing the same.

We had a really good stay. The receptionist welcomed us warmly and was very helpful, and breakfast was good with a nice variety. The hotel is in an excellent spot, very close to the airport bus stop and public transport. I highly recommend it.

😅 Huge thanks to Diego for such great customer service. He was really helpful and even gave us some free fruit, win-win! 🌟
