I’ve never stayed somewhere this bad. It felt more like overpriced luggage storage than a place to sleep. Noise went on all night, from the street and people shouting while drunk to deliveries and sounds inside. The shared toilets on the floor didn’t help either. Even someone with a sleeping disorder might struggle to get any rest. A university dorm would feel like a church by comparison.

For what we paid, it was decent, but sleeping was hard with the bar below us. You could hear everything until 2 a.m., even couples having sex, throughout the place. Staff weren’t always around, so arrival times were restricted even if you just wanted to drop off bags. They should do something about the noise.

I’d avoid this hotel. When I tried to pay online, they said my card had been declined, although I’d used it successfully for another booking that same day and had enough money in the account. I gave them my partner’s card details, and they said that one didn’t work either, then accused me of fraud. I politely asked to cancel the reservation. They replied, “Bay bay [sic]. much better I do not like the English Bullies like you.”

I called ahead about arriving very late on Sunday night, and the person on the phone said it was fine. Then at 11 p.m. the receptionist put me and all my luggage outside, with nobody around on the street and nowhere to go. I never expected to be treated like that while travelling in Europe. The staff were very rude. Would not recommend.
