Casa Número 7

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Guests could be left stranded, and after reading another review with a similar story, I don't trust its professionalism. I booked through Booking.com two days ago for a trip to Seville with my daughter. The site emailed to confirm, so I called the hotel to check. It took ages to get through, but the woman who answered said the room was reserved. She even said they might give us a large room with two beds and suggested where to park. Then this morning Booking.com told me the hotel said there were no rooms for those dates and canceled the booking. I was stunned. I tried calling the hotel all morning without getting an answer. Late in the afternoon they called and said they were “overbooked,” as someone else had mentioned. Is this tiny hotel an airline? They were unfriendly and didn't apologize. Booking.com, on the other hand, was completely professional and helpful. They moved us to a much better hotel in a better area and promised to cover the price difference. I hope they honor that.
