The Loft House Sevilla

Clean and secure, with a great location and helpful, nice employees. The drawback is that there’s no real common area, and it feels more like booking a spot in an online work space than staying somewhere with a social vibe. I wouldn’t call it the best choice for solo travellers.

The rooftop pool and lovely kitchen were great, and both the rooms and shared spaces were kept really clean. I had four wonderful days here and everything went smoothly. The location is spot on, and I’d definitely stay again if I come back to Seville. Ventilation was the one small problem, especially with eight people in a room. We needed to open the window each night for fresh air. With it shut, outside noise was barely noticeable, but once it was open, we could hear it.

The rooftop is amazing, and the woman working at the bar was lovely when it was open. It wasn’t open every day, though. The bed was comfy and the location is great, but the reception staff came across as a bit hostile. The dorm needs a proper clean, especially the toilets, which should be cleaned more often.

The bathroom lights run on motion sensors, so you can end up showering in the dark unless you keep waving your arms around every few seconds. Check-in was also a real hassle. The receptionist was rude, and we waited nearly half an hour because their system couldn’t register our information, even though they already knew our room and code.
