Pension Nuevo Pino

If you’re after luxury, you’ll need to go elsewhere and spend a lot more. For affordable accommodation in central Seville, this is ideal. The room was modest but spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the price was very economical. It’s in the Jewish quarter, close to the centre, and I’d recommend it to younger visitors who just need a base for exploring this beautiful city.

We could easily explore from here, and it worked well for a couple of nights. The room was small but pleasant and clean, with comfortable beds. It’s a basic hostel, and breakfast was simple but decent at 2.90€. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when one of our children had a health issue late at night. Wi-Fi worked fine, which kept the kids happy in the evenings. We’ll stay again.

The location is excellent, the bedrooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are clean. What really stood out was how much the staff cared. They treated me more like a friend than a customer. On my first day I was waiting at reception to check in when one of the men working there woke me and told me to move somewhere more comfortable. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. I really recommend it.

The location is the one good thing, and there are plenty of other options nearby. The place is falling apart, the staff aren’t helpful, and the rooms and bedding are barely up to basic standards. The terrace is a wasteland, the heater and AC failed in the middle of both nights, and laundry costs 20€. Of all the hostels I’ve stayed in, this was by far my worst experience. Definitely would not recommend.
