Apartamento Corral del Conde del S.XVI

Check-in was really easy, and the apartment was clean and tidy. We loved the wonderful yard and spent every night on the balcony with a glass of wine. Definitely recommend.

The kitchen had the basic equipment and utensils we needed, and there was a washing machine with a drying rack. The machine looked a bit moldy and needed cleaning. Our bedroom was clean, but the bed frame squeaked a lot and the mattress was too soft. Showering flooded the bathroom because there was no curtain or barrier, and the floor sloped toward the door. We stayed two nights. There’s no elevator, so we had to carry our suitcases upstairs.

Just to be clear, this is an apartment complex, not a hotel, even though the listing calls it a “3-star hotel.” Residents live here year-round, alongside tourists who rent apartments. There’s no hotel-style check-in or room service, so be sure your landlord tells you exactly where your apartment is. I understand wanting to enjoy a full Spanish fantasy on vacation, and this place can suit that. But remember that people live here and deserve consideration. Most tourists are great, but the occasional visitor disrupts everyday life. Imagine having strangers as neighbors who change every couple of days. Residents can feel wary, uneasy, and hesitant about who’s sharing their home, so please be mindful and respectful. Enjoy your trip!

These are apartments, not a hotel. The check-in and check-out process was far too complicated, and I was given the wrong room.
