Apartamento Turquesa Beach 310B

The apartment was spacious, and the location and pools were great. That was about all it had going for it. The kitchen was filthy, its panels were broken, and cleanliness elsewhere was practically nonexistent. The dishes were chipped, and there wasn’t a single pot lid. The oven was too dirty to use. Bathrooms looked like they hadn’t been wiped down in ages, and dust covered the living room furniture. There was sand and footprints across the floor. The sheets were the one exception, they were bright white. The sofa bed’s storage compartment had a kilo of lint, and the pillows were stained.

Two of the three pools were dirty, and the locks were broken or worn out. The whole complex really needs renovation.

The apartment seemed fine at first, but the trouble started soon after. There was no hot water, and when I raised it, the receptionist replied rudely. We didn't get the pool keys until our last day, either. Then construction next door was so loud it sounded as if the walls might collapse. Worst of all, they tried to pin the blame on the intern, who's a really nice girl.

The bed made it impossible to sleep comfortably. I could feel every spring, and it was much too hard and looked old. Cleaning could have been more thorough, the fridge was too small to avoid shopping every day, and after one wash our clothes and towels came out soaking wet and took days to dry. The location was a real plus, under a five-minute walk from Fossa beach, and the three pools had different depths for adults and kids. We had a decent stay, but I wouldn't come back.
