Neptuno Paguera Hostal

The location was good, with daily room service and a great breakfast. Rooms are basic, though, and could use a mini fridge.

The staff were wonderful and helpful, always ready to answer our questions. When our flight wasn't until evening, they even asked if we'd like to leave our luggage while we spent more time in Peguera, which was a really thoughtful final impression. The hotel is small, but the rooms are big enough. The bathrooms have been renovated, and cleanliness is clearly a priority. Our room was cleaned whenever we wanted it to be.

I stayed at the end of May, and the hostal was really bad. A lot of reviews here seem to be about the restaurant downstairs, not the hostal. It was extremely loud outside until 1:00, with live music and football nearby. The place is right on the main road, so there isn't a pretty view or a quiet stretch in nature. The beds were the most uncomfortable I've ever slept in, and the air conditioners didn't work. For around 100 euro, there are much better hotels. If you're choosing this for the location or price, I'd look elsewhere.

The breakfast was generous and really tasty, and the place felt fresh and clean. I spent three lovely days here, with staff who were welcoming and ready to help. I was very happy with my stay.
