Sky Senses Hotel

We’ve been here for the last couple of days, and the whole week has been bliss. Supermarkets, restaurants and the beach are all within a three-minute walk. This is my third time in Santa Ponsa, each time at a different hotel, and we’ll definitely stay here when we come back. The food is good, and the lovely pool gets plenty of sun while also having lots of shade. Love it here.

There were some real problems during our stay. We arrived after midnight and were told there was no room because we were checking in past the stated time, though they did eventually have one. The bathroom had a disgusting drain smell, the air conditioning barely blew cool air, and the heavy doors kept slamming late at night or early in the morning. Traffic and deliveries on the road outside were noisy very early too. On the plus side, the hotel is very nice and well located. Breakfast had a great selection, and our room was cleaned every day.

A few more sun loungers would help, and there wasn’t any entertainment, perhaps because the World Cup was on. We also didn’t have holiday reps during our stay, and breakfast could use a larger toaster. Still, I thoroughly enjoyed it and would stay again. The staff were great, and the food was excellent, served hot with chilled salads and lots of choice. They changed the tablecloths after each customer. Bedrooms were cleaned daily, towels changed, and the rooms were big and modern with a comfortable bed. There was a good choice of English channels too.

The stay was really relaxed, with friendly staff and great food. You can watch the chefs cooking right in front of you. The beach is a two-minute walk away. There are four pools: one indoors, one outdoors with a small children's pool, and one on the roof.
