Son Caliu Apartamentos

I've just booked to return this August after staying in the apartments last August. When we arrived, the air conditioning in our room wasn't working, but they moved us to another room within 20 minutes without any hassle. The apartment was perfect. Food and service at the hotel were top tier, the pool was immaculate, and the staff were amazing. Honestly, there's nothing more to add. I'd highly recommend the apartments or hotel.

The beachfront balcony was a real plus, and the apartments are right beside a beach that isn't crowded, with lovely water views. There's a souvenir shop across the street, a couple of restaurants around the corner, and the hotel itself is a short walk down the street if you want to use its amenities. The location is excellent. There were dead cockroaches on the floor when we first checked in, though we didn't see any after the first day. The walls are thin and it's easy to hear the neighbours. Internet was weak or nonexistent in the bedroom, and street parking was very hard to find. We didn't rent a car. I'd stay here again.

The sea is the best part of staying at Son Caliu Apartamentos. Having breakfast on the balcony with that bright water in view was so calm, and I’d come back for the seaside setting. Getting around took a bit of effort. Even outside peak season, parking nearby was hard to find, and the city centre and main attractions weren’t close. At least there are big supermarkets nearby, so sorting out food was easy. My first room was clean and uncluttered, but its air conditioning was broken. At check-in they left a radiator without explaining why. I raised it with the staff, who sent a technician, and eventually moved me to the next room. Despite the hassle, it’s a lovely place to unwind by the sea.

The apartment is serviced every day, and the beach is very close. There’s plenty of room, though the basic kitchen could use more plates and pots. The tiled floors get really cold in winter. The AC warms the room but not the floor, so I had to keep my socks on.
