Allsun Hotel Vera Beach

The hotel had such a calm, pleasant feel, and we were comfortable from our first day through to the last. Our room was clean and well looked after. The food was fresh every time, with lots of variety and everything tasting great. Staff were kind, welcoming and ready to help. We loved our holiday, and send a big thank you to the whole team. We were a couple aged 44 and 52 and felt very comfortable here. The location is fairly convenient for getting around the island by car, and from a previous visit we know the buses are reliable and run well. Our room was on the main building’s sixth floor, around 20 square meters, with a lovely sea view and views of other hotels. It had a very comfortable 180 cm double bed, safe, air conditioning, balcony, TV, shelves and a desk. There was no refrigerator. The bathroom had a shower, hairdryer and a shelf under the sink. The buffet had a good range, especially in the evenings, with some nice local dishes. Hot drinks were good, but the juices tasted like very diluted syrup and the water was heavily chlorinated. Service was well organized, food displays looked clean and fresh, and staff gave guests individual attention and handled requests promptly. The staff were friendly and competent, and the Allsun Hotel Paguera “Vera Beach ***” is a well-run *** hotel, one of several Allsun properties in the area. There’s paid parking in front for €3.00 a day. A free public lot sits uphill behind the building, though reaching it by car requires a detour. The small pool between the buildings is open only from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, when the hotel has a lifeguard. We know nearby hotels let guests swim until 8:00 PM. The sea is 200 meters away. We left everything at the hotel, including our smartphones and valuables, and could swim without worry, apart from paying €20.50 a day for two loungers and a parasol.
