Yurta Mongola Delta del Ebro

The place was okay, but the parking was far away and so was the bathroom from the room. There were problems with the heat in the room and with the water. When we asked the owner to meet the conditions described, they became touchy and nasty.

We stayed in the Tree House for a winter weekend, and the views were spectacular. It was well insulated and got plenty of sun. Between that, some time by the fireplace, and the oil-filled radiator at night, we weren’t cold at all. The bed was comfortable, and waking up to birds and looking out at the star-filled, pitch-black sky was spectacular. Breakfast was lovely, too. This place is for disconnecting among the trees, not for anyone expecting a resort or a luxury hotel with a highway at the entrance. The access road was fine. The property isn’t brightly lit at night, which is great for stargazing, and they provide a powerful lamp so you don’t get lost. We love nature, so we didn’t think the place was poorly maintained. In the yurt and the tree house, the sink and shower are outside, which adds a bit of adventure and makes a nice change from city life. The composting toilet smells like sawdust, and if you’ve used a portable toilet, this is much better. Belén and Said, who was at the property, were attentive while giving us space. We’re sure we’ll return. We also found a very good restaurant in l'Aldea, La Vaqueria, and the Delta is very close for outings and birdwatching. The mix of countryside, sea, nature, relaxation, and a little adventure won us over. I read somewhere that the barbecue was dirty, but that wasn’t true for us. Maybe another guest had just used it.

My reservation was confirmed, but the hotel cancelled it when I wouldn’t pay more than the price we’d agreed on. That’s completely unacceptable and shows no responsibility towards customers. I was left without any accommodation options, and it seriously disrupted my vacation. Extremely unprofessional service. I absolutely don’t recommend this hotel.

We had a very good breakfast and friendly, attentive service. The room was lovely, surrounded by olive and almond fields where you can take long walks. It’s a great option for visiting the Delta and getting away from crowds. By car, it’s quite close to l'Ampolla, Deltebre, Poblenou, and everywhere else. Highly recommended!
