The pool and all the cuddly cats and dogs are a lovely bonus. The room was spacious and had everything I could need, and the staff were so friendly they really made me feel at home. It's such a quiet, beautiful spot, apart from the cicadas, of course 😃. A hidden gem, highly recommend.

We slept comfortably in very clean rooms, and both breakfast and dinner were excellent. The hosts were wonderful and always happy to help. It's a small hotel in a beautiful old building, tucked away among peaceful woodland. Thoroughly recommend it.

I really enjoyed the traditional food, and the quiet, beautiful garden was a lovely place to work remotely. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful, and the hotel welcomes pets. Set in the middle of nature, the amazing 12th-century building makes it a great place to relax.

This could be a great spot for a retreat or conference with fewer than 40 people, and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxed. The staff are nice. Some rooms may not suit taller guests, and the furniture and bathroom condition vary from room to room. The new tenants are planning to fix things up, so that may change.

Dinner is available if you book it separately. The menu is small, but the food was very good, and they also have beer and wine. The location up on the mountain has lots of shady spots to relax and a pool for a swim. Service was great, and a very good breakfast was included.
