The breakfast terrace and pool have far-reaching views, with kestrels and swifts passing through and bougainvillea framing the scene. Breakfast was delicious and made with local produce: meats and sobrasada, cheese, bakery bread, eggs, fresh tomatoes, and fruit. Campanet is lovely and easy to get around on foot or by car. We found a space every evening in the free car park a few hundred yards from the hotel. Thank you, Antonia, for such a welcoming stay at your beautiful hotel. It’s a small place, with four rooms in Antonia’s house, and the bedrooms are large and clean. The bed was very comfortable, with a fridge in the room and lots of storage and hanging space. There are plenty of good local restaurants, and Antonia is happy to suggest where to eat and what to do. We were very sad to leave and highly recommend staying here. Thank you again!

We loved relaxing by the pool and having breakfast, which wasn’t included, at the outdoor kitchen. Hotel Son Colom is a private, clean home, decorated beautifully with antiques, including a 17th-century emperor bed. It’s just a five-minute walk from Campanet town centre. Antonia runs the place herself and has done a wonderful job maintaining and designing it in a way that honors Spanish architecture and decor. She can come across as direct, but please don’t take it the wrong way, she means no harm and just wants to be clear. We got along really well with her and already miss the place.

Campanet is a quaint little town, close to fantastic hiking trails and about a 30-minute drive from Palma. We had a wonderful stay at Son Colom and highly recommend it. Antonia, who owns this beautiful place, was so lovely and welcoming. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was great.

We rented bikes and were able to keep them in the attached locked garage. The owner and hostess was extremely friendly and helpful, doing all she could to make us comfortable and telling us a lot about the area and local customs. This is a beautiful old Mallorcan villa in pristine condition, with everything carefully maintained or freshly renovated in the original style. If you want a large, impersonal hotel where you can blend in, this won’t suit you. But if you’re after a peaceful refuge with personal attention, and can overlook small imperfections while enjoying the lovely garden, views, and house, you’ll have a perfect stay. We’ll recommend Hotel Son Colom to our family and hope to return.
