Terralta

I keep coming back here as a secret escape from Barcelona, and I'm finally sharing it because my reviews get noticed. This place has so much character and soul that it starts to feel like home. It's shabby chic, so skip it if you want modern design, a minimalist feel, or a new building. There are several ways to unwind: a pool, places to hang out, a BBQ area, and a garden spot under a tree where you can look out at the mountains. Breakfast and dinner are served, and both are delicious. There are plenty of hiking trails nearby, with even more options if you're traveling by car. Dogs are welcome, and the neighbours have horses.

The public rooms at Hotel Terralta are a real draw. There are reading corners and communal lounges for board games, all with a relaxed, home-like feel. Getting there can be a challenge, but the views across the surrounding countryside are breathtaking and make the journey worthwhile. Staff are professional, friendly, and attentive, which helps guests feel welcome. The rooms are clean and functional, with the essentials for a comfortable stay, though they could use some modern updates. The restaurant needs more attention to cleanliness. The food is standard, and better presentation and hygiene would improve the meal. Hotel Terralta has a cozy character and excellent service, though the rooms and restaurant could be better.

I went to my friends' wedding here, and everything surpassed what I expected. The hotel sits in a beautiful, almost enchanted area with lovely mountain views. The service was great, and the Spanish food was tasty. I'd definitely recommend it and will come back soon.

We found this hotel at a great price when it was the only one nearby with availability. We drove up in the middle of the night and woke to an incredible view when we opened the curtains. The staff were super friendly, and they even made us breakfast after we got the time wrong. Ten out of ten, I'd recommend it.
