The pool area had an unpleasant smell of grease and fumes coming from the extractor fan next door at Burger King. The hotel itself is basic and could use some updating. It’s fine for a couple of nights, but I probably wouldn’t want to stay longer. The central Can Pastilla location puts shops and bars within easy reach, though the road beside the hotel can be noisy at night.

The Bulgarian guy at reception was great, chatting with us and suggesting things we could go out and do. Our room was amazingly clean, and the housekeeping lady did a brilliant job keeping it looking lovely. She doesn’t speak English, but she’s amazing at her work. The shower was powerful too, which you really need in this heat.

It’s by the coast and close to the airport, and there was a free parking lot a few minutes away. The room itself felt drab and not very clean. The shower water kept shifting between warm and cold, the beds were okay but nothing special, and the air conditioning worked poorly. I’d call this place functional at best.

I only needed a one-night stop, and the location suited that perfectly. Restaurants, bars and shops surround the hotel, and the beach is less than a casual ten-minute walk away. The room was a decent size and very clean. Staff were informative and professional, and they served with a smile.

The hotel was fine, with all the necessary amenities, and it’s in a great location. We especially liked the NamiBlueBeach service, which we first heard about at the hotel. They bring food and drinks right to your sunbed on the beach. It was super convenient and let us make the most of our beach days at Can Pastilla.
