Hotel Cinco Castaños

Everything was clean, and the hosts made me feel like I was visiting a friend. I’ll definitely come back.

The pool beneath the big trees is stunning, and the natural setting is spectacular. You’re surrounded by nature but can still walk into town easily. I always stay here when I come to Candelario. The facilities aren’t very modern, though they’re comfortable, spotless, and built with fine wood rather than plywood. It’s a family business with impeccable service. They’re expanding now, and I’ll definitely return.

Lola and Juan have really won me over. It felt like a truly family friendly place, and my 10 days at the hotel left me with wonderful memories. The older part is clearly showing its age, though the materials are good. They’re expanding with 10 rooms, and the project looks promising. Once that work is underway, I’d encourage them to renovate the bathrooms in the older section.

Juan, Lola, and their family made the stay special with their hospitality. The hotel has a lovely terrace and a great pool, and it’s close enough to walk into town without being right among the noise. I felt very comfortable staying there this summer and would definitely return. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. They aren’t especially modern, but they aren’t old either, and the materials seem good quality, which I prefer to something modern but cheap. They’re renovating now to expand the hotel.
