It's a beautiful old building in a great spot for town, and it was quiet and very clean. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. Rooms were a good size and good value. There's a garage for cars or motorcycles, though I parked free and safely behind the building. Breakfast was a small but adequate continental spread, and you could ask for more. Highly recommended.

I cancelled my booking because the staff's behaviour felt unprofessional. I called with a question about changing my dates, but the woman who answered cut me off and told me to email instead. Thinking my English might be the issue, I offered to speak Spanish, which I can do, though I'm more comfortable in English. She hung up while I was still talking, without saying anything. I sent the email, but didn't hear back for many hours. I also called several times that day and no one answered. With staff so rude and hard to reach, I didn't want to deal with them during my stay.

The hotel was very clean and well placed in town. It's far enough from the restaurants that outside noise wasn't a problem. Sadly, I could hear every sound from the rooms next door.

Prices were affordable, and the staff were extremely polite. They explained the town and the hike to the lakes. The hotel was very clean, with all covid measures in place, and only a five-minute walk from town. I'd definitely recommend it.

Nothing fancy, and the room was a bit small, but it's a good place to stay. The lovely town is a quick walk away. I'd stay again.
