The location was good, the coffee was good, and most of the employees were very helpful. But I couldn't get a decent night's sleep. The place is hot, loud, and dated, and there aren't even fans in the rooms. You have to leave the windows open and hope for a breeze, which means listening to trucks and other street noise. The walls are so thin you can hear neighbors coughing, showering, and even their more romantic activities. I didn't expect air conditioning, but for what they charge, I was shocked. It should cost half as much.

The view over the river was good, though we could only see it through the window. The room was hot and the paper-thin walls made it noisy. We'd requested a balcony room overlooking the river, and were told they couldn't guarantee one, which already put me off a little. When we arrived early, they said there were no balcony rooms available and only offered a ground-floor room. Ours wasn't ready, so we had to come back. By then, a couple who'd just arrived without a booking had been given a room with a balcony and river view. That really annoyed me. I couldn't understand why we weren't offered it when they had no reservation.

We arrived literally 90 seconds after the 8 pm check-in closed, and the doors were locked. I've never been anywhere so inhospitable.

It's a convenient five-minute walk to the city center, and our room and bathroom were a good size. We also had a river view. But the walls are paper thin. We were in room 10, and the TV in the room next door was loud enough that we didn't need to turn ours on.

The hotel was fine, and the reception staff were nice. We had a good stay, and there was parking for the motorbike too.
