The service was really fun and fast.

The best parts were the location and the view of nature from the back. We stayed two nights, and the place needs a lot of work. Our room was on the second floor, in what seemed to be a restaurant or something, reached by a little staircase at the side. It was like a tiny cell at the back, with no light in the hallway and a door that was hard to open and made a lot of noise. The room badly needs repainting. The mattress was fine, but the pillow was very thin. The bedside lamp didn’t work, there was only one outlet, and there was no air conditioning. The TV had 13 channels, only four of them regular TV and the rest music, but it wouldn’t tune in properly. There was no Wi-Fi in the guesthouse, and the wardrobe was tiny, just shelves. The bathtub was really small and felt dangerous to get into.

The staff were a 10/10, so friendly and attentive, and the location is unbeatable. It’s good value for money. Room 3 could use some improvement, with slightly bigger beds and less dampness.

The room was only acceptable, and the beds were really uncomfortable. Some guests take hotel soap, but I ended up with a mattress spring stuck in my shoulder blade. If you’re heading to the Covadonga Lakes and the price is reasonable, the location can work well. It’s near the parking areas where you catch the bus to the lakes, and parking nearby is easy. Cangas de Onís is about a five minute drive if you need bars, a supermarket, or pretty much anything else.
