Hotel Bella Playa & Spa

The spa was peaceful and the whole hotel felt quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Our first room had broken air conditioning, and water from the shower overflowed the tray, but the team moved us to another room that was much better.

I’ve stayed here several times on business trips, and it’s always a pleasure. The staff are great, the rooms are good, and breakfast is included and very good. I’m always happy when this is the hotel booked for my trip.

We had a week of walking from this wonderful hotel, and the guide was fun and knowledgeable, keeping pace with the groups. The food was fabulous, with lots of choice and good quality. There were 16 of us, including two vegetarians, and everyone enjoyed the variety. The whole hotel was exceptionally clean. The weather was too good for us to use the spa, though it looked spacious and lovely.

We appreciated the very late service for guests arriving late, as well as the option to pick up an early breakfast. The room was spotlessly clean and the room service staff were friendly, though on one very windy, rainy day the poor insulation left the room quite cold. At times it was noisy, with room service moving beds and other guests arriving late. There were lots of hiking tours starting from the hotel, and it also seemed like a good choice for tennis players. The restaurant service was especially friendly and fast, and the spa was a plus. It was already open in March, unlike many other hotels. I’m not giving five stars because the pool wasn’t great and there were only a few small sea views, although the coast is just a two-minute walk away. A new pool area appeared to be under construction and looked much better, so it should be finished around now.
