The owner was so friendly and quick to help, which made the stay even better. The apartment is right by Pamplona's City Hall Square, about 20 steps away, and Ayla City Hall is a beautiful place. There is some street noise from being so central, though the apartment is well soundproofed. Inside, the living room has two balconies and a big, comfy sofa, with an elevator in the building. The small kitchen had everything we needed and very new utensils. Upstairs, the bedroom is spacious, with another two balconies and a huge bed with a quality mattress. The bathroom has a large shower with great water pressure. I'd definitely come back if I get the chance, and absolutely recommend it.

We expected a lot from Ayla Ayuntamiento after reading the online reviews, but the apartment didn't live up to that. The biggest issue for us was the heat and noise. There's no air conditioning, just two fans. In August it was very hot, and with the windows open the street noise made it impossible to sleep. The apartment faces Calle Nueva, a busy, noisy street, especially on weekends and during festivals. It's in the old town beside the town hall, on the first floor. The place has two levels, with the living room and kitchen downstairs. A steep staircase leads up to the bedroom and the home's only bathroom. There's no toilet on the ground floor, which may be a problem for people with reduced mobility and is worth considering for accessibility.

Everything was well organized, and the apartment had all the essentials. Just keep in mind that the bedroom and only bathroom are up stairs, which matters if you have reduced mobility.
