We felt at home here, and the staff made us feel very welcome. The restaurant had plenty to choose from and the food was great. Our lovely room was in the Dart annex, about a five-minute walk from the main hotel, with a great pool shared by the four annex rooms. A wonderful rural hotel in a beautiful setting.

We had a lovely countryside stay here, with a beautiful pool. The food was much better than we expected, and the staff were friendly and informal. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel with simple, rustic-chic styling. Highly recommend it.

The restaurant was the real letdown. Service dragged, the food was barely edible, and despite having good wines by the bottle, there was no wine available by the glass. We know there was an issue with the chef while we were there, but we still had to pay full price. We found a hair in the food, my veal steak came rare after I asked for medium-rare, and the salads seemed to come straight from a bag without dressing. The room, setting, and pool were fine, and the staff were friendly, but the service overall fell well short of what we expected for the price. Compared with similar hotels we stayed at in Mallorca, this one was overpriced. It aims for four or five stars and charges accordingly, but in our experience it was three stars at most. We were very disappointed.

I left and stayed elsewhere. By then, the conflicting stories about my deposit and the way I was treated had made it clear that the next two days would be stressful. Luckily, the deposit had not gone through, so I escaped the situation and they lost the booking. I’d paid the requested advance deposit online through the link they sent me. It showed as paid, so I thought everything was booked, and the hotel hadn’t contacted me to say otherwise. On arrival they initially couldn’t find the payment, which delayed settling the balance, though they took an imprint of my card. Later, someone told me they’d found the deposit, first in the restaurant and then by the pool. An hour after that, when I asked for a drink, they refused to serve me and said they still hadn’t found it. The place was incredibly unprofessionally run. The owner was awful, the restaurant oven wasn’t working, and my bedroom had no windows even though I’d booked a superior suite. I felt treated like someone they didn’t trust. They kept making mistakes and never apologised. I’ve read their reply to this review. They’re blaming a client instead of taking responsibility. I had no idea they’d tried to charge my card while I wasn’t there. I’d been told I could go to reception after the pool to sort it out, so of course my bank wouldn’t approve the payment without me there to enter my security code. Even more unprofessional.
