Círculo Artístico 1911 Hotel Boutique

The staff were so friendly and helpful that we enjoyed the stay enough to book an extra night. The modern rooms have a lovely bathroom and a great shower. The location is fantastic, with views of the church and all the attractions within easy walking distance. Great value for money.

Alex, the hotel manager, went out of his way to find us on a nearby street and guide us when my phone died and I couldn't get directions from someone else's phone. We were very grateful for his kindness. My wife, some friends, and I had stopped in Caravaca de la Cruz for the night, and Artistico 1911 Hotel turned out to be a great choice. It's on Calle Mayor in a pleasant older part of the city, close to Basílica Santuario de la Vera Cruz and our destination. The hotel and rooms are recently built and charming, with a clean, comfortable, modern finish and lovely renovation. The area seems to be seeing a revival in shops and places to eat. It's a smaller area, of course, not like Scottsdale’s Camelback Avenue or Rodeo Drive, but still nice. We've lived in Spain for several years and still keep American dining hours, so Alex pointed us to nearby El Orno. They technically weren't open, but accommodated us anyway and served a delightful meal.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and the service was tip top. Mercedes and her husband, the owners, were extremely helpful and did more than expected to make our stay enjoyable. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The website advertises “24h parking,” but in practice it means parking on the street 200m from the hotel. I found that very misleading, and they shouldn't advertise it that way.
