A nice place.

This is only about the restaurant. The rice dishes are delicious, though I do think the price is disproportionate for them. It is expensive, no question. They brought bread I hadn't ordered, and at first I thought it was a nice gesture. It showed up on the bill, which I don't mind paying, but they should tell you when they bring something you didn't ask for.

I only went to the restaurant for the lunch menu, and I don't recommend it or plan to return. The waiter, who seemed South American, treated us very poorly. The menu was €13.60 for a very limited meal and awful service. I first asked for El Pollo a la Pepitoria, but was told it had run out. I chose the Rossbeef with sides next, even though the waiter said it didn't come with a side, despite the menu clearly saying it did. He offered grilled chicken, which I ordered with potatoes. Later he brought a slice of chicken with artichokes, saying there were no potatoes left, then walked away. When I called him over to change it for something else, he brought breaded turkey with salad instead. Five minutes later, he took my chicken and artichokes to the table behind us, minus the artichoke I had already cut into.

The wait was nearly an hour and a half from sitting down to leaving, and we ended up going without dessert or coffee because service was so slow and we had no more time. Despite having two waiters, a girl working as the hotel receptionist, and someone's little daughter, about 7-9 years old, serving, it took that long. Then we were charged the full menu price. The lunch menu is very basic. Nothing seems to take more than five minutes to prepare, with products you can find at any cheap supermarket that have been cooked for hours. The cabbage had already been topped with béchamel, so there was no option for those of us who can't eat it. The chicken was extremely plain and the potatoes were inedible. If you can avoid going, you'll be doing yourself a big favor.
