The accommodation was a good size, clean, and very reasonably priced. The location might put some people off, but there’s a regular, cheap bus into the centre of Cartegena, and it takes just 10 mins. I would’ve given five stars if the pillows had been decent. The mattress was good, but those cheap foam pillows were nasty and much too soft. How much would decent ones cost?
There’s free parking right outside the apartments, and they’re close to the main shopping area, with a large supermarket, plenty of shops for clothes and other retail, restaurants, bars, and fast food. The apartments are spacious and clean, with your own kitchen and bathroom, plus an iron and ironing board. It’s in a large industrial area and a couple of miles from town, but there’s a regular bus from two minutes away. A great place to stay for visiting Cartagena.
The apartment was very clean and had cooking facilities. There are a few bars and restaurants nearby, as well as more in the huge shopping center. It’s out of town, with buses from the center to a major shopping center. We walked the distance, about 2 1/2 miles. All good.
For budget accommodation, this was as good as it gets. The apartment was clean, there was loads of parking, and everything was close by. They even had a washing machine :)
A really nice place to stay, with easy access to all areas of the Mercia district.
