Bodega la Venta

The restaurant food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the large rooms made for a very enjoyable stay. We stopped here while traveling from Italy to Portugal, and the friendly staff and secure parking made everything convenient. I’d gladly come back.

We found it a little tricky to locate, though that wouldn’t put me off returning. The renovated building is lovely, and our room was wonderful, with everything we needed, including a hairdryer. There was a good choice at the restaurant; our salmon salad was tasty and reasonably priced. We’ll definitely be back.

A handy place to stop on our way north from the south toward Madrid, even though it’s quite isolated. The building is beautiful inside and out, and I found the place really interesting and unusual. Dinner was good, but the rooms felt old and weren’t cleaned well enough. The receptionist didn’t speak any English.

The staff speak little English, but we managed to communicate, and they appreciate it when you try speaking Spanish. This place has plenty of charm if you enjoy somewhere a bit dated. It seems remote, though there’s a lot nearby: interesting graffiti in the next town, castle ruins to explore, and restaurants in different styles. The restaurant here is pretty spectacular too. We had a great time and would recommend it to people passing through or looking for an adventurous stay in a different part of Spain.
