Hotel Rural Serrella

I spent a week here hiking and really enjoyed it. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, the food was very good, and above all the hostess was kind and lovely. I can recommend it. Thank you!

Our room was more like a spacious studio, with a large balcony and really comfortable beds with new memory foam mattresses. There’s a little kitchen area with a fridge, hob and sink, though it has no pots, plates, cups or cutlery. Check that the fridge is switched on. We didn’t need the air conditioning because it stayed cool enough, and a hairdryer was provided when we asked. Wifi worked well everywhere, all day. Rosa and her team looked after us well. Special mention to Joanna for being so attentive during some very busy periods. It’s a lovely hotel in the quiet village of Castell de Castells, well placed for exploring the area. The spacious, airy dining room serves great food, and the large terrace is popular with passing cyclists. We’d recommend it for a relaxing mountain stay, which was just what we wanted.

A clean, lovely place with friendly staff and a simple but nice breakfast. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed for both lunch and dinner while we were there, and so were all the village restaurants, so we had to drive about 20 minutes to another village to eat in the evening. Still, we had a lovely stay.

The location is great, and there’s plenty of good local food. It just keeps coming. The staff are always smiling, and the service is excellent. I can’t recommend the place enough. We found the service, food and location just as good as before. Well done.
