Apartamentos Rurales San Juan

We kept thinking about coming back after our stay. It was peaceful and comfortable, and the people we dealt with were welcoming from the first messages before booking through to arrival. Our penthouse was compact but had everything we needed, including air conditioning and Wi-Fi, and it was spotless. The private terrace was enormous, with spectacular views in daylight and after dark. It would suit a couple, or two adults with a small child.

The owner let us leave our motorcycles in the garage, which was a big help. We loved eating outside on the terrace, looking at the castle, and the attic was just right for two despite being quite small. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom water was great, and the kitchen had all we needed. There are a lot of stairs, though, and card payment isn't available. The closest ATM is in the town across the way. We had a lovely stay, though it's a shame we only have two photos.

The woman who helped us was warm and friendly. The place felt a little dated, and although it had been renovated, it seemed neglected. The shower and bathtub were slippery enough to feel unsafe.

I had a wonderful time there. The place had a dining room and kitchen, three bedrooms, two double beds, and a separate toilet with a bathtub. One of the double bedrooms also had its own bathroom.
