We didn't stay at the hotel, just stopped in for food and drinks. The waitress brought menus and took our bottle of wine order, but only after we ordered food did she mention the kitchen was closed until 7pm. My wife asked about a seafood pizza and was told it was available. When I came back at 7 to collect a takeaway, I was told they didn't have seafood pizza after all. I chose pepperoni instead, but what I got was ham and mushroom. It was probably the worst pizza I've ever had, like a supermarket frozen one, only worse.

The location is great, and the room seemed modern and clean at first glance. But the bathroom needed maintenance: the grouting was poor, the folding shower door had extra parts it shouldn't have, and the sink tap was loose. The rooms aren't very soundproof either. I expected more from this hotel.

Our rooms were spotless and the AC worked well, though getting into the building later was a problem. It's under renovation right now. Construction workers on site called the owner to accept our reservation, and he arrived promptly with metal keys for the rooms. After dinner, we couldn't get back into the building because it needed a card key. Luckily the same workers were still there. They cut the building's power, which opened the main door so we could reach our rooms. The door stayed open all night, which was much better than being locked in. I'd wait until the renovation is finished.

Good value for the price, clean, and the room was a good size. We only stayed one night and wish we'd arrived sooner so we could use the pool. The tub jets didn't work, and the building we stayed in had no elevator.

A spotless, family-run hotel with super friendly, helpful staff. The food is Michelin-star quality at amazing prices. Totally loved it, definitely 5* plus, and we'll be back! 👍
