A comfortable, clean place and good value for the money. It’s rustic and quaint, with excellent food, and the owner was both friendly and helpful. It works really well as a stop on the drive between Santander and Murcia, either way. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

The village is lovely, with its maze of tiny narrow lanes and all those old yellow stone buildings. I arrived late at night at this hotel in the middle of nowhere and got a really warm welcome. The bedroom decor could use a little refurbishing, but the bed was clean and comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. Someone even brought a nice glass of local vino tinto up to my room. I was too tired for dinner, but breakfast was adequate: cold orange juice, a big strong cafe con leche, and hot tostada with butter and jams. There was also a small basket of chocolate biscuits and a couple of little cakes, which I admit I took along for lunch. The receptionist, barwoman, and breakfast maker were all the same very friendly, helpful person. I’d definitely come back.
