Being close to nature while still able to walk to a café and grocery stores was a real plus, and I’d happily stay here again. The garden is a wonderful hidden spot, with tidy plantings, loungers, and a spotless pool. My room was comfortable and practical, though smaller than the photos suggested. The remote staff were kind and helpful, but several emails and WhatsApps made it hard to find the entry code. I’d also booked a yoga mat and zafu as a free extra, but they didn’t arrive until checkout morning.

The owners answered our questions remotely whenever we needed them, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. It’s a peaceful, lovely place, and the property was spotless. I’d highly recommend staying here when visiting Castillo de Locubin.

We found Castillo de Locubin a great place to visit, and the stay itself was one of the best we’ve had. The garden and pool were beautiful, and everything was kept up so well. The place felt incredibly relaxing, with modern touches that still respected its history. A beautiful retreat where every detail felt just right.

A beautiful setting for an amazing apartment.

The room, or apartment, was clean, cosy and pleasant. We were fortunate to run into a cleaner who helped us ask about checking in early. We had explained that we needed to change and leave our luggage before a christening, but they didn’t do much to help with that. I also don’t understand the €20 booking fee added to the displayed reservation price, since I handled the booking and check-in myself. Apart from that, everything was great. Thanks.
