The room was very clean, and there’s a bar and restaurant just 30 meters away. The view toward Cedeira is astonishing. On a walk in the evening, you can see wonderful eucalyptus forests, and you can also watch the animals on the farm beside the Calzada Romana. The chef is from Brasil, and her Portuguese is good. The rest of the staff are very nice, as are the village people who are often around. A neighbor’s dog was on a leash almost all the time, but it could frighten someone. The restaurant owner’s dog, Zuri, wandered freely, though Zuri is nice. Mosquito nets on the windows would help keep flies out of the room.

It felt more like pub food than restaurant fare. Everything seemed to come with chips and salad, and it was quite expensive for what we got.

The owner served us and was so warm and interesting to talk with that it felt like we’d made a friend. The place is tastefully decorated with history and memories, and the restaurant, terraces, bar and surrounding area are all very well cared for. We had a luxurious meal, with generous portions, excellent wine and lovely views. The shots were delicious, and the coffee was exquisite. It’s in a privileged, beautiful spot surrounded by nature. Access is adapted for people with reduced mobility or wheelchairs. The restaurant also has 10 rooms for rent, three adapted for people with reduced mobility. The price for the quality was reasonable. I definitely recommend it.

The owner and waitress gave us exquisite service, thank you! We hadn’t been back in years, and it was spectacular again. We had the scrambled eggs with prawns, the cod in pil-pil sauce, which is a house specialty, and homemade cheesecake. It’s just a stone’s throw from San Andrés de Teixido, so the trip is well worth it.

We went for lunch and found the hotel complex empty. It’s a lovely place with good views. Our meal was a seafood scramble, chorizo cooked in cider, a slice of bread, and chocolate tart for dessert. For three people, the total came to 60 euros.
