Good value for the money, and the staff were good.

Only stopped for lunch. It was okay, edible.

The rooms were clean, though the bathroom was absurdly tiny. We only stayed one night while passing through, and the staff were friendly, but the cost was outrageous: €100 for the room without breakfast, then extra for breakfast. For a hostel in an industrial park on Vigo’s outskirts, that felt like a rip-off, maybe because it was August. We spent a week in Galicia that August, and this was the most expensive place we stayed. The other hotels were cheaper, with breakfast included, and were either on the beach or in the countryside in lovely abbeys and manor houses (pazos).

It’s a better place to go if you have a car. I didn’t, and there aren’t many nearby alternatives. There’s a Supercor at the gas station, but it’s quite a climb uphill, or you could head to the funeral home, Vigo Memorial. The bar or restaurant is fine for coffee, beer, or wine, though I found it expensive, €6 for a Spanish omelet sandwich.
