We expected better. The place was dirty, from the greasy coffee maker to the unclean shower, and the towels were so rough they scratched my skin. There was just one mirror, in the bathroom, and the layout gave very little privacy because the top wasn't closed off and you could hear everything. Light from the bathroom or hallway also spilled into the bedrooms through an awkward makeshift window. The coffee maker was tiny for four people, and there was no oven. I had to ask for the heating to be switched on because it was controlled over Wi-Fi. They ran it for two hours one afternoon, then shut it off and didn't turn it on again. We were cold on our last day, even though we left in the afternoon.

Despite booking a hot weekend in February, the house stayed at a comfortable temperature and was clean. We'd been a little unsure because of earlier reviews, but our stay turned out really well. There's always room for some improvements, of course. Thanks to the owners for being so kind.

The house itself was okay, but the service wasn't worth the high price, and the cleaning was awful. I rented it from Tuesday to Saturday, yet the person in charge kept insisting I had to arrive early because she needed to clean. Then everything was filthy anyway. When I was 20 minutes late because she was working, she said I'd be left stranded. After all we'd paid, she also told me that being on vacation meant eating out. A house should be somewhere to enjoy yourself, not a place where you're told what to do. A really bad experience.

For the weekend of Isabel's Wedding festivities in Teruel, we booked an apartment and had a great experience. The apartment was spotless, with nothing to fault, and Josefina and Maribel were attentive when we arrived. Hi Josefina, I’m saying this with affection, like you asked in your cover letter, in the hope it helps you improve. I was surprised to see many of these same points in earlier reviews, too. The bathrooms were tidy, but the wall corners and floor were dirty, and the rest of the cleaning fell short. The floors were dusty, the windows looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned in years, and the terrace was dirty and felt like a sauna. The house has a nice design between rustic and modern, but the sofas badly need replacing. The old, scratched pans made food stick, the towels were rough, old, and stained, so I had to buy new towels and dishcloths because what was there was dirty. Some stair steps were loose, the beds could be more comfortable, Netflix wouldn’t turn on, and the TV took ages to get working. The gel bottle didn’t work either. The thing that really shocked us was that the owner went on vacation while guests were staying in the apartment. Who would you go to if something happened? And it needs air conditioning. Summers in Aragon aren’t what they used to be. It should be called nightmare time, not dream time.
