The breakfast room is lovely, with a view over the waterfront, and the hosts were friendly. The place itself is modern while still respecting the old building, in a beautiful village setting that’s very quiet and right by the water. We hadn’t realized when booking that we needed to check specifically for a waterfront room. The others have no view and small windows at the back, with the air-conditioning just one meter away if you open a window. For the high Easter weekend price, that was disappointing. We also ran out of hot water after two minutes in the shower, and paper cups for the in-room tea setup seemed odd in a place so carefully designed. With a room overlooking the water, those smaller issues would probably fade away, and it would be a perfect place to stay. ;-)

Our hostess went to a lot of trouble to find us a taxi when my friend became very sick during our stay on the night of Thurs April 13. I’m especially grateful for her care and help. The hotel is small, quiet, clean, and comfortable, very close to the water and the boats going about their business. Breakfast downstairs feels welcoming, and it’s a nice place to chat with other travelers.

Watching the boats from bed was a special part of the stay, and the views over the water are incredible. The hotel sits almost right above it. I’ve never stayed in a lovelier boutique hotel. The building brings old and new together beautifully, with stone, huge wooden beams, clean lines, and modern amenities. Breakfast was fantastic too. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

We’d happily stay here again. The hiking nearby is beautiful, and the hotel is perfectly placed in town, right by the water with a view of the port. Inside, it was stylishly decorated, clean, and our room was comfortable and quiet. We arrived late, but the hotelier had arranged easy access and sent all the details we needed for wifi and the rest. They replied quickly whenever we had a question. After we left some things behind, they found them and promptly arranged international delivery.
