Villa Pilar

A luxury villa with a private pool and garden. The views across Fuengirola are completely uninterrupted.

The garden was my favorite part, with a big clean pool and a barbecue area that had everything for a great meal. Right beside it, on the same level, there’s a dining room and kitchen where everyone can eat together if the evening gets chilly. The villa itself has loads of room in every bedroom, built-in wardrobes, and a bath or shower in each one. In the main living room there’s a fireplace, a big TV, and even a PlayStation for the kids. There’s also a garage for two cars. The views over Fuengirola, the sea, and mountains are unbeatable, with nothing blocking them, and the whole place feels like a dream home. Stephen was a fantastic host, kind and quick to answer all my questions. For a holiday on Spain’s best coast, about 10 minutes from the beach, this is a great option.

Stephen is a great host and really keen to make sure you’re happy. The villa is beautiful, with stunning views, lots of space, and pretty comfortable beds. The flies around the pool were a downside for us. Fuengirola center is about €12.00 by taxi, and there’s a supermarket within walking distance.

It could have been an ideal house for a relaxing family break, but we couldn’t enjoy it because of the swarms of mosquitoes. We hadn’t been told enough about the problem, and the house had limited mosquito control facilities. The cleaning provided for “their occupancy” was a complete disappointment, especially at a 5-star price.
