Pilar is very welcoming to pilgrims, and the hotel is quiet, right by the Camino and close to everything in A Estrada. The room was spacious and modern, with a good shower and bathroom, though the WiFi was a bit weak. There's a small bar by reception. It's centrally located and has a lift.

I found the owners very attentive. The room and bathroom were spacious, and the place was quiet and right in the center. It's been restored, is very clean and practical, and the price is affordable. Personally, I'd have liked a firmer mattress. For breakfast, coffee with a muffin or pastry is the best.
