The location, right in the middle of Puerta del Sol, was perfect. I also liked that they have rooms with different bed counts, including up to four beds in one room. The price might look high, but being so central saves the transport costs you’d have if you stayed farther out. The staff were really helpful, and they let us check in an hour before our original time. The rooms were spotless, air-conditioned, and had toiletries provided. They also have a funky look, with bright colors and posters that made the room feel cheerful and helped us sleep well. I recommend it.

This kind of hotel won’t suit everyone. The room was as small as advertised, and the bathroom basin was perhaps the smallest I’ve ever seen. You do get what you pay for, though, and it’s a good fit if you’re traveling alone and staying in Madrid for no more than two nights. The location is as central as it gets, near Teatro Real, Puerta del Sol, Gran Via, Plaza Mayor, and the other tourist sites around there. The 24-hour front desk is a big help too.

The rooms are okay if you’re hardly ever in them, but street noise gets pretty bad on weekends. The man on the night shift is really nice and helpful. The woman was sassy and answered questions as if I were stupid. A lot of people in Madrid come across as high and mighty, though some are very nice while others act as if they’re better than you.

For a solo traveler spending just a few days in Madrid, the rooms are very clean and it’s good value for the price. The hotel is close to Puerta del Sol and big stores like El Corte Ingles, Fnac, Desigual, Mango, and Zara, along with a wide variety of excellent restaurants. It’s a convenient choice if location matters and you don’t mind giving up some comfort. One downside was that the reception staff didn’t know much about Madrid attractions and services, and some weren’t even willing to call a taxi.

For about 50 euro, it’s a good option for a night when you need somewhere to sleep and want to avoid an expensive taxi. The rooms are small but have everything you need. I’d recommend it for a quick sleep.
