The noise overnight was a real problem. Doors kept slamming and people shouted in the corridors, so we couldn't sleep and left exhausted. We had to cancel our plans and head straight home. It's a pleasant hotel otherwise, and the receptionist was exceptionally helpful, giving us a map, ideas for places to visit, and directions. Her care for guests deserves recognition. Something needs to be done about the nighttime noise; the hotel deserves better than a 2 star rating.

We stayed for two nights, and I wouldn't go back. The photos gave a different impression. The first room smelled strongly of sewage, with mold on the windows and ceiling by the entrance. The heating seemed to run almost constantly, but the room was freezing. We asked to switch rooms for our second night. At least the smell was gone, but the shower screen had rusty corners and the shower tray was broken, so using it flooded the whole bathroom. That room was freezing too, including the bathroom, despite the heating being on all the time.
